David C. Goode President, has been with the company since 2002.  Previously, he headed the County of Maui’s Department of Public Works and Waste Management for more than seven years as Deputy Director and then Director.  His previous experience also includes project management for Schuler Homes on Maui, Kauai, and Oahu and owner of a general contracting firm in California. Dave is currently on the Board of Directors of the Carden Academy of Maui, the Maui Contractor’s Association, and chairs the Kulamanu Community Association’s Architectural Committee.  He is also the Governor Lingle’s appointee to the Hawaii 2050 Sustainable Task Force.  He graduated with a BSEE with Honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  Phone: (808) 572-3011 x. 206

Mark R. Walker Vice President, has been with KSD Hawaii since 1999.  Previously, he had been with Bank of Hawaii for fifteen years as a commercial loan officer, private banking officer and branch manager.  He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Small Business Management, with a minor in Journalism, from the University of Northern Colorado.  He is the Vice Chairman of the Maui Food Bank and Treasurer of the Makawao Cemetery Association.  Phone: (808) 572-3011 x. 202

Kent R. Smith Senior Partner and founder, Kent has been actively involved in the building industry since 1970 and has successfully poured his skills and energies into making KSD Hawaii one of Maui's most respected development companies. From spearheading zero-lot-line affordable housing projects on Maui to successfully undertaking large multi-lot subdivisions, he has established KSD Hawaii as an industry leader that is continually breaking new ground in every area of property development.

Bonnie Ancog Controller, worked as the Office Manager/Legal Assistant for ten years at a prominent Maui law firm.  Previously worked in management in the restaurant industry and Personal Assistant to Kent Smith.  She graduated with a Certificate of Achievement, Accounting and Associates in Applied Science, and Accounting from the University of Hawaii, Maui Campus.  She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa a national honor society, and the Rotary Club.  Phone: (808) 572-3011 x. 203

Ryder Swatek RME, Construction Manager, has over 7 years of construction experience and a wide range of technical experience who most recently worked as a foreman and chief carpenter for Graydon Construction. Ryder is responsible for estimating, budgeting, scheduling sub trades, and quality control on various KSD construction projects.  Born and raised on Maui, Ryder attended Seabury Hall and received a BA in Psychology from Lewis and Clark College.  Ryder holds two black belts (not active anymore), is a member of the Olinda Community Association, and a cyclist and avid outdoorsmen. Lianne Ventura Administrative Assistant.  Lianne comes to us with valuable experience in both the Maui development and construction industries having spent the past six years with Pacific Rim Land and Goodfellow Bros., Inc.  She is the Vice President of Maui Upcountry Little League, and a member of the St. Anthony Junior Senior High School PTG.  She attended Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington.  Phone: (808) 572-3011 x. 201

Celeste Thomas Accountant/Administrative Assistant to David Goode, is responsible for the accurate and efficient flow of accounting data for our various projects.  Celeste is a twenty year-plus Maui resident, and previously lived on the Big Island of Hawaii for over ten years.  The majority of her work experience is in construction and related industries, with the last eight years working for one of Maui’s premier custom home builders.  Her expertise in construction accounting is a valued addition to our team at KSD Hawaii.  Phone: (808) 572-3011 x. 207
